Regional Leaders Dialogue

Regional ( WORLD ) Leaders Dialogue – The Regional Leaders Dialogue Sessions are tandem “prime time” high-level sessions during the FIATA World Congress. They will feature internationally recognized experts, politicians and CEOs in a tandem series of debates that tackle the most strategic issues related to Forwarding and International Trade Facilitation / Development at a regional level.

During the FIATA Congress, the Dialogues could be organized under the auspices of the Irish Government and the President of FIATA / IIFA. With high media exposure, and innovative techniques, these ( TBD ) -minute sessions offer strategic thinking to guide the implementation of practical solutions for a sustainable future in the forwarding Industry.

Media headlines are filled with stories of individuals achieving significant change, be they politicians, CEOs, NGO activists or forwarders / shippers. Whatever their walk of life, these are people who, through their personal achievements, their day-to-day work or their charisma, can influence others and translate words into actions.

During the FIATA Congress, these exceptional people would be asked to share their thoughts about possible solutions to some of the world’s biggest challenges.

The Process

The Regional Leaders Dialogue sessions would held during the FIATA World Congress’s Forum, from 16:30 to 18:00 on Wednesday. The format will foster debate between five to six internationally-recognized experts, moderated by a leading logistics journalist ( maybe the FT ).

Audience participation could be made possible thanks to innovative methods, allowing participants to interact with the panelists and the moderator by posting their comments and questions through an on-line system ( Twitter-like ). Video relays of the sessions were broadcast throughout the Congress venue and relevant Internet channels and can be viewed here.
